Sex Is a Good
Creation of God

God
created sex within the context of MARRIAGE.
“So
God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created
them. God blessed them and said to them,
‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis
1:27-28)

It is
good and BEAUTIFUL – not shameful or
gross.
“May
your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A
loving doe and a graceful deer – may her breasts satisfy you always, may you
ever be captivated by her love.” (Proverbs
5:18-19)
Outside of Marriage
Sex Is a Sin

Sex
before Marriage…

Orgies

Homosexuality…
…are all SINS
that God will judge.
“Marriage
should be honoured by all and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge
the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”
(Hebrews 13:4; see also 1
Corinthians 6:9-11)
Sex Unifies
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the
beginning the Creator made them male
and female, and said for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and
be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let
man not separate.” (Matthew 19:46)

Sex is
Union by a Man and Woman on three levels:

Physical
– the actual ACT of making love.

Emotional
– the bond of love HEIGHTENS the act
because the act is motivated by an unselfish desire to serve and please your
husband or wife.

Spiritual
– since God ORDAINED sex as an act
designed for only two people.
Consequences of Sex
Before Marriage
- “Do you not
know that your bodies are member of Christ himself? Shall I then take them and unite them with a
prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with
a prostitute is one with her in body?
For it is said, ‘The two will become one flesh.’ But he who unites himself with the Lord is
one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual
immorality. All other sins a man commits
are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of
the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought with a
price. Therefore honor God with your body.”

for Any SEXUAL sins
“Repent,
then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of

be angry forever.” (Jeremiah 3:12)

“But since there is so much immorality, each man
should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. The husband should fulfil his marital duty to
his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.
The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her
husband. In the same way, the husband’s
body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. Do not deprive each
other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote
yourselves to prayer. Then come together
again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of
self-control.
